Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism: Reading Chogyam Trungpa

Treading a spiritual path is a subtle process that can lead to a distorted, ego-centered version of spirituality unless potential sidetracks and misunderstandings are understood and addressed.
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s 1973 book Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism became a watershed event on the American spiritual scene by highlighting this issue—crucially important for any spiritual seeker regardless of tradition.
This five-week class will offered on both Thursdays and Fridays at different times to accommodate different schedules. Participants can join either of these classes, which will be led by Matthew Zalichin, senior student of Trungpa Rinpoche and currently meditation instructor in residence at Samye Hermitage New York.
