Awakening Dignity: An Introduction to Meditation
With Matthew Zalichin
May 23 - September 12, 2023
Phakchok Rinpoche’s newest book, Awakening Dignity, explores how our inherent dignity could be much more powerful than the anxieties, self-doubts, and low self-esteem that can seem so overwhelming.
Since Rinpoche’s co-author Sophie Wu is currently working with Shambhala Publications to develop an on-line course based on the book, we will take this opportunity to read and discuss this book together, in the manner of a book club.
Meetings will be preceded by a meditation period, with instruction to acquaint attendees with the practices developed in this introductory book, which is suitable for all backgrounds.
Class Schedule:
Tuesdays, 6 – 7 pm
Online only beginning July 11, with breaks on July 4 and August 22.
